The September Fell walk was to Cat Bells
above Derwentwater The weather was kind by comparison with most days this Autumn with bright conditions and clouds only covering the higher tops. Even these cleared late in the day. After finding a parking spot for our 3 cars, not easy, we climbed up steadily in ideal walking conditions. The short final scramble was followed by lunch on the top.
